Oftentimes people relate wellness to physical and mental health. While it is imperative for these areas not to be neglected, wellness is a much broader and multi-dimensional topic that involves a holistic approach in integrating several components to maximize a person's wellbeing.

The Office of Student Life & Well-being has identified eight areas that are vital to the health and well-being of our students and ultimately their educational experience at UMass Lowell. These dimensions are not fixed goals and can look different for every individual. We hope that the shared resources provided through our office can help improve the well-being of individuals and communities around us.
