Students who defer to Spring 2021 will retain their Spring 2021 financial aid offer. Students who attend another institution in the fall will need to reapply for admission as a transfer student for Spring 2021 and merit scholarship offers may be impacted. - When will returning students receive financial aid notifications?

Financial aid notifications for returning students is currently scheduled for July 24. Students must complete the FAFSA, be registered for fall courses, and complete all required financial aid documents before receiving an award notification.
- If I defer to spring when do I need to cancel housing without getting charged?

According to our schedule of cancellation penalties, students who only have a spring assignment have two weeks from the date of assignment to cancel with only the $200 cancellation penalty. If they wait, they have until the first day of classes to cancel and receive a 50% refund of housing charges. Any student who moves into their assignment is not eligible for a refund of any sort.

- What happens to my financial aid if I don’t live on campus?

Financial aid awards are based on a number of factors, including housing status. Students who chose not to live on campus will have their financial aid adjusted accordingly.
