The Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities oversees the student conduct process for UMass Lowell and enforcement of the Student Conduct Code to ensure that the standards of the campus community are upheld.

The graduate fellow for Student Rights and Responsibilities is responsible for meeting with students to discuss potential conduct code violations and, if applicable, issue appropriate sanctions. The graduate fellow will also serve on UMass Lowell's behavioral intervention team - Student Assessment, Referral and Support (STARS) - creating cases, assisting with case assignments, and serving as a case manager.

The graduate fellow will be responsible for administrative tasks that include scheduling meetings for student conduct conferences, assisting with the case management process including sanction compliance, processing parental notifications, as well as supporting other administrative tasks as needed by the director and associate director. The graduate fellow will assist in training other staff on the conduct process and supporting the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities in presentations and campus programs as needed. The graduate fellow will also be expected to be available to answer student questions about the conduct process via email, phone, or in person. This position offers a meal plan during the academic semester and year-long, on-campus housing and includes a single bedroom within a shared university apartment (share with one other graduate fellow).
