New-Lab-Login

Effective this Fall, the Olsen 310 and 314 Computer Science Microsoft Windows labs will undergo an authentication change. Your student.uml.edu username and password will now be used in order to gain access to the Windows systems in those labs. Any existing user profile data will no longer be available.

To prepare for this change, please ensure that you know your student.uml.edu username and password. If you do not know what this username and/or password is, please either call the UML Help Desk at (978) 934-4357 or visit them in the first floor of the Olsen Hall building.

This change will affect how you log into these machines, and how you access, save and print documents.  This document outlines these changes and explains how to properly use the new infrastructure.

Your existing linux username and password will not be changing and you will still be able to use that to gain access to the linux and Macintosh systems in Olsen 308, your CS email account and the mercury.cs.uml.edu server.
