The Humanities and Arts help us see the world through new lenses, modeling sustainable, equitable relationships and fostering a sense of shared responsibility for action in response to the climate crisis. Our research, teaching and creative work introduce new perspectives on the world that change cultural outlooks. We encourage ethical reflection, foreground marginalized narratives, and draw from cultural experience and scientific knowledge to model creative solutions to environmental problems.
