ALEKS Testing Requirements and Placements

Students in the colleges and majors listed below are required to take the ALEKS Calculus-Readiness test; the score received determines which math course in the sequence you will start in before proceeding to any following courses.

For example, an Engineering student who scores a 35 will take the following courses:

First semester: Precalculus 1 Second semester: Precalculus 2 Third semester: Calculus 1
