Software Download For Engineering Faculty - MAC
In order to successfully download MATLAB onto your machine, you’ll need to paste the Installation Code and download the License File as a text file to your desktop.
- Install MATLAB to your computer.
- Once the downloading process is finished, extract the folder.
- Once the folder is extracted, get into the folder and then click on setup. (Note: Please be patient as the setup pane will take about 5-15 minutes to open as MATLAB is a huge software.)
- Once the setup pane pops-up, you can start the activating process by clicking Yes on the pane.
- In the MathWorks installer select Use A File Installation Key option, and then click Next.
- Accept the license agreement by clicking Yes, and click Next.
- Select I have the file Installation Key for my license option and paste the Installation Code in the text area and click Next.
- Select the folder where you’d like to save the MATLAB folder and then click Next.
- Select the products that you’d like to install with MATLAB from the Product list and click Next.
- From the Browse button, select the License File that you’d saved earlier, and click Next.
- Choose the location of your MATLAB shortcut and click Next.
- Select Install.
