Biosketch

Maryum Zaidi (Formerly Kazmi) is an Assistant Professor in the Solomont School of Nursing, Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her areas of nursing practice have been in Medical-Surgical, Oncology, and Home Health Nursing over the last 18 years. Zaidi's research focuses on person-centered care, community-engaged research, and patient engagement in treatment decision-making using health information technology tools. Her post-doctoral training is in Implementation Science. Zaidi's current research targets cancer screening in the refugee population using an implementation science health equity framework.
