Biosketch
I have over 30 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse as well as 25 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I have been employed in numerous clinical settings including inpatient and acute care pediatrics; outpatient and ambulatory clinics; community and home health and most recently in an urban Pediatric Primary Care clinic. I have served as a clinical preceptor to many pediatric and family Nurse Practitioner students from a variety of colleges and universities. I have also given many presentations and lectures and have been involved in various research projects in many of my clinical settings. My professional interests include pediatric pulmonary care and care of the pediatric patient with chronic illness. Most recently I have been teaching and have found it to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my career to date!
