Biosketch
Comfort Enah, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, is the Donna Manning Endowed Chair and a tenured associate professor in the Solomont School of Nursing, Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and a pioneer in the use of video gaming interventions to address disparate risk and outcomes in sexual and reproductive health among minority teens. Her research was recognized in an award winning interview aired on The National Public Radio's "All things Considered" program in 2014. She has led multiple funded research projects including NIH funded research projects in game development and mHealth research within and outside the United States. Her most recent funded research is a 5-year (2020 to 2025) mHealth project funded be the NIH Eunice Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. She has served as a peer reviewer in NIH study sections and is an editorial board member of the Journal of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. She has also received a journal article of the year award. In addition, she is also an experienced nurse educator who received a graduate classroom teaching award.
