Biosketch
Tanya Coutu is a clinical associate professor at UMass Lowell with extensive experience spanning multiple areas of nursing practice and education. She brings over three decades of diverse clinical expertise to her teaching and mentorship roles. Her professional background includes medical-day infusion center, sixteen years specializing in maternity nursing and three years in medical-surgical oncology. In addition, she served ten years with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in long-term medical care.
Dedicated to advancing nursing education and patient-centered care, Tanya continues to integrate her clinical experience into the classroom, preparing future nurses for excellence in practice.
