Eta Omega Chapter
Eta Omega received its charter from Sigma Theta Tau International in 1984. We have over 200 active members who are students, graduates, or faculty of the University of Massachusetts Lowell and community leaders. Sigma is an international honor society with over 135,000 members from more than 90 countries. The organization places a high value on nursing scholarship and excellence and is a leading professional organization that continues to provide products and services in education, leadership, career development, evidence-based nursing, research, and scholarship. The Eta Omega Chapter supports these endeavors through research and practice grants, travel awards, and an internship program.
