Academic Year 2026 - 2027
The Online Master's of Business Adminstration Scholarship is an award offered to high achieving newly admitted master's students who complete all required MBA program courses online. Awardees will receive up to $2,000 in graduate scholarship funding.
Scholarship funds of $500 per semester will be awarded over four consecutive fall and spring semesters to students who maintain good academic standing in the program.
Recipients who want to accelerate their degree program may apply the scholarship toward Summer courses as long as they enroll in at least two 3-credit courses.
While tuition and fees for UMass Lowell's online MBA program are among the most competitive in the nation, the purpose of this award is to make our high-quality MBA program even more affordable and accessible for deserving students.
The scholarships are offered to students enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship. No additional application is required. Students must apply by one of the priority deadlines (see below) for either the Fall 2026 start term, or Spring 2027, and complete all coursework online.
Awardee Requirements:
- Academic Criteria: To receive the scholarship, you must meet the academic standards required for acceptance into UMass Lowell’s MBA program. No separate application is required.
- Minimum Credits Requirement: You must take a minimum of 6 credits each semester.
- Priority Application Deadlines: Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by July 15 for the fall and September 15 for the spring term.

- Awarding Guidelines: Students who receive other tuition based awards, such as National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), National Science Foundation (NSF), Fulbright Scholarships, Research or Teaching Assistant appointments, or other employee tuition benefits may only apply one of these award towards their tuition; in these circumstances, UMass Lowell will always apply the award that is most advantageous to the student.
