Cheryl Najarian Souza, Ph.D. does research involving an intersectional analysis, which includes looking at ability, disability and the spaces in between while considering other intersections such as race, class, and gender. She explores this topic while using sociological, gender studies, and disability studies frameworks. She is currently at work on a project that looks at the discourses of (dis)ability in educational and family environments.
