Co-op with Entegris

Co-op placement
I did my co-op at Entegris at their Billerica location, and I had a Process Engineering position.

Best parts of doing a co-op
I was given multiple long-term projects that I either led or worked prominently on, and some even progressed beyond Billerica (a process change I made was implemented at a plant in Japan). Overall, it was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I gained a lot of knowledge from it.

Career connections
I found that it was incredibly valuable in giving me an idea of what it is like to work in industry, from technical engineering tasks to more soft skills, like presenting to a large group of people. I was also able to speak to members of the company from all different departments (including Quality and New Product Development) to understand the variety of positions I could have after graduation, and what interested me most.
