Boathouse Rentals
The UMass Lowell Bellegarde Boathouse and our waterfront are available for special events.
Located on the banks of the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts, the deck facility at UMass Lowell's Bellegarde Boathouse on the Merrimack provides some of the region's most spectacular waterfront views and stunning sunsets. After more than $1 million worth of renovations, this state-of-the-art venue is ready to host family gatherings, birthday parties, weddings and corporate outings that can include National Park boat tours of the river or canals and other private functions.
Facilities
The rental area is limited to the 2,000-square-foot deck overlooking the river. Special permission may be granted for excursion boats to land on the docks to drop off or pick up passengers.
