Summer Hours (May 2 - August 29, 2025)

Monday - Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Note: The Campus Recreation Center will be closed May 19 - May 26 for our annual facility maintenance and deep cleaning.

University Snow Closures

The CRC will close when the university is closed for snow over winter break.
When the university is closed for snow during the semester, closures or adjustments to CRC or Riverview Fitness Center (RFC) operating hours will be posted on the UML Campus Recreation Instagram page.

Bike Shop Semester Hours*

Tuesday - Friday: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday - Monday: Closed

Fall 2025 Semester Dates: September 3 - November 26
Spring 2026 Semester Dates: March 16 - May 1

*Please note: The Bike Shop will now operate only during academic semesters and will serve UMass Lowell students, faculty, and staff. While repair services are no longer available to the general public, community members may still purchase new and used bicycles. For inquiries, please email bikeshop@uml.edu.

Bike Shop Closed for Winter and Summer

Used and new bikes are available year-round to the public and university community. Contact bikeshop@uml.edu for details.
The bike shop will close for the winter the day before Thanksgiving and reopen the first day after spring break in March.
The bike shop will close for the summer the day after classes end and will reopen the first day of the fall semester.
Free Wheelers daily rental bikes and $75 summer semester rental bike options are available to UMass Lowell students, faculty, and staff at the Campus Recreation Center for the summer of 2025.
