Mission

The mission of the Office of Student Life & Well-being is to advance the Division of Academic and Student Affairs holistic concept for student success by infusing health promoting actions and collaborations into campus culture.

Overview

The Office of Student Life and Well-being serves as the backbone to building capacity for health promoting activities across campus by coordinating well-thought strategic approaches that align with campus mission, industry best practices and the principles for health promoting colleges and universities outlined in the Okanagan Charter.  Our approach in working collaboratively for infusing well-being practices is based on the two Calls for Action provided by the Okanagan International Charter for Health Promoting Universities & Colleges.
Call for Action:
  1. To embed health into all aspects of campus culture, across the administration, operations, and academic mandates.
  2. To lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally.
