New students should plan on getting their UCards as soon as possible and before the start of school. Most students will receive their UCard during Orientation. UCards will allow you access to your residence hall, parking, the Recreation Center, dining halls, and many other locations.
You must be registered for classes before a UCard can be issued, unless attending Orientation. If you have registered for classes within two (2) business days of visiting our office, please bring a copy of your class schedule for verification.
All students must carry their UCard with them at all times and immediately surrender their UCard upon request by an authorized University/city official such as Police, Administration, Residence Life Staff, etc. Altering, improperly possessing, or lending a University Identification Card to another person for any reason not expressly authorized by the University is a violation of the Student Conduct Code. A University Identification Card falling into any of these categories may be confiscated by any student, staff or faculty member in the course of his/her charged work responsibility. More information can be found in the Student Conduct Code.
New students should plan on attending one of the many Orientation sessions before the start of their first semester. Your photo will be taken at and your UCard will be issued to you.
