Please Note

Family Orientation is offered through Family Programs, while freshmen and transfer orientations are offered through the Orientation Program. Freshman and transfer students should register for orientation online.

Your student does not need to attend Family Orientation with you. Family Orientation is geared towards parents and family members of incoming students, but not the students themselves. Some parents and family members may not feel comfortable discussing certain topics around their own or other students, and we want everyone to be able to get all their questions and concerns answered in an open environment. If your student will be accompanying you to Lowell, we encourage them to use this time to explore the campus by themselves and learn a little more about UMass Lowell.
