Purpose

The Inclusive Identity Project goal is to deliver an inclusive, respectful, seamless, and welcoming experience for all students.  While UML had an option for students to add a chosen campus name, UML students can now also opt to add their pronouns to their student record. These enhancements were made so Advisors, Faculty, and Staff can communicate with students using their chosen name and pronoun. These fields are fully optional and can be self-edited by students at any time.
Pronouns will appear on SIS Class Rosters, Grade Rosters, and Advising, Faculty, and Department Center Reports.  "Pronoun' was also added as a new field in Blackboard.
Please note: future enhancements of practices and systems in support of the Project Goal are planned.
