“A Conversation with Oprah Winfrey” will be moderated by UMass Lowell Chancellor Jacquie Moloney.
Tickets range from $175 to $250; prices do not include applicable fees. There is a limit of six tickets per person.
Student tickets are $50 for the event in specially designated student sections. Students must purchase tickets in person with an ID at either Tsongas Center or Student Activities box office (University Crossing 220). There is no online option for student tickets.
In addition to the program for the public and campus, Winfrey will attend a reception for event sponsors. Proceeds from sponsorships will also go to student scholarships.
Winfrey’s appearance at UMass Lowell, co-sponsored by the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, is the third Chancellor’s Speaker Series program. Previous events featured author Stephen King and actress Meryl Streep and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for student scholarships.
