Biosketch

Ewaldine Shakira Fedna is a graduate fellow in the Office of Student Life and Well-being at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In this role, she draws upon her skills as an EMT and pharmacy technician, as well as her experience in patient care, to contribute to the department's mission of promoting student life and well-being. Shakira has successfully completed her Bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in Spanish at UMass Lowell and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in public health here. Her academic journey in these fields of study is a testament to her passion for understanding and improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities. With her diverse academic background, Shakira brings valuable insights and knowledge to enrich the ongoing conversation on well-being within the university community. As she continues her academic pursuits, she looks forward to applying her expertise in medicine and public health to make a positive impact in the field and ultimately pursue a career as a physician.
