Description

Lead your own tour by following a planned schedule of site visits within Lowell National Historical Park. Sites are easily walked and well marked, and clear pre-visit instructions are provided. During the two-hour visit led by the classroom teacher, students explore the changing nature of work during the Industrial Revolution.

  • Stand among the roaring looms in the Boott Cotton Mills Museum restored weave room
  • Visit the "Mill Girls and Immigrants" exhibit in the boardinghouse.

Fee scale for reserved self-guided programs

2007-2008 School Year: $3.00 per person plus $35.00 per class of 30 students.

Programs may be reserved as of May 1, 2007 for dates during the 2007-2008 school year by calling Lowell National Historical Park at 978-970-5000.
