Spring 2026
Camille White
Hi everyone! My name is Camille, and I am a sophomore biology student at UML. I transferred here in fall 2025 after completing my freshman year at the University of Vermont, and I'm so glad I did! UMass Lowell has many exciting opportunities for students and getting involved as a transfer student is easier than you may think. Outside of class, I do research for a biomedical lab on campus, work part time as an operations assistant for a biotech company, and will be hosting a radio show for WUML this semester. I am so excited to be a part of the TAP program.
Elizabeth Clarke
I'm Elizabeth Clarke, but you can just call me Libby. I am a junior majoring in business administration with a concentration in accounting. As a non-traditional student with extensive life experience such as owning my own small business, moving to new places across the U.S. and Europe and raising a family, I understand the challenges of returning to school and starting fresh. I enjoy helping other transfer students feel confident, supported and connected as they transition to UMass Lowell.
Rosalie Casavant
Hello! My name is Rosalie, and I’m a junior majoring in elementary education and moderate disabilities. I transferred to UML from the University of Vermont in the spring of 2025. In addition to the TAP program, you may see me around campus giving tours or being an ambassador for the Bachelor of Arts in Education program. I chose UMass Lowell for a variety of reasons: it is affordable, it is close to home, it has fantastic programs, and it has such a strong and vibrant student population! The TAP program has provided me with so many opportunities and connections, and I love that I can give back to this community as a peer ally!
Allison Hernandez
Hi All! My name is Alison Hernandez, I am a senior here at UML, and my major is psychology with a minor in public health. I transferred from Hunter College in Manhattan, New York to UML for sophomore year back in 2023. A little bit about me is I am currently working part-time at the Riverhawk shop, I worked as an orientation leader this past summer, and I like to take part of social clubs on campus like the Latin American Student Association and the Psychology Club. I enjoy attending different student-led events on campus like the Spring Carnival with friends because it's always super fun! Lastly, if you ever need a good spot to study on South Campus, I would recommend the 4th floor of the O'Leary library because the quiet space always helps me focus and get things done!
