The UMass Lowell Computer Science Department has three computer laboratories that can be used by any student enrolled in a Computer Science class.

Dandeneau 402

This lab contains non-GPU PC systems and a network printer. The PC systems dual boot Windows and Linux. Linux can be accessed via the computer science user account. Windows can be accessed by the student.uml.edu user account. From the linux systems, students can access their linux home directories without needing to connect to the main linux server. Installed onto these systems are the standard set of editors, compilers, web browsers, Office and Adobe suite applications and other required software packages.

This lab contains GPU PC, iMacs and a networker printer. The PC systems dual boot Windows and Linux. The iMacs dual boot Mac OS X and Windows. Linux and Mac OS X can be accessed via the computer science user account. Windows can be accessed by the student.uml.edu user account. From the Linux or OS X systems, students can access their linux home directories without needing to connect to the main linux server. Installed onto these systems are the standard set of editors, compilers, web browsers, Office and Adobe suite applications and other required software packages.
