Biosketch

I graduated in 2024 from Associate Professor Natalie Steinel's lab at UMass Lowell (UML) with my Ph.D. in Applied Biology, where my dissertation focused on host-parasite immunology. My interest in scientific innovation has led me to become a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office with the goal of helping other scientists protect their intellectual property. I have almost two years of experience working in the legal field as a legal assistant.

I joined the Office of Technology Commercialization in April of 2026, where I review technologies that have been invented at UML, assessing their patentability and commercialization potential. I also market UML's patented technologies and assist with drafting confidentiality agreements.
