Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) is an electronic system that helps researchers assemble the professional information needed for participation in federally funded research. SciENcv gathers and compiles information on expertise, employment, education and professional accomplishments. Researchers can use SciENcv to create and maintain required proposal documents submitted with grant applications and annual reports.

Federal funding agencies are increasingly recommending or requiring that applicants use SciENcv to create Biosketches and other forms for use in the grant application submission and reporting processes. After Oct. 23, 2023, the NSF will only accept applications with Biosketches and Current and Pending (Other) Support forms prepared using SciENcv.

PLEASE NOTE: UMass Lowell researchers are highly encouraged to immediately begin using only SciENcv to prepare for this upcoming requirement.
