Fall 2021
- The SPACE HAUC ground station, designed to communicate with the SPACE HAUC satellite over UHF and X-band radio frequencies, was assembled and can be seen to the right. The dish and Yagi antenna assembly is attached to a mechanism which can aim and track the satellite as it crosses the sky.
- On Tuesday October 12 at 8:30 a.m. EDT SPACE HAUC was deployed from the ISS by Nanoracks. 32 minutes past deployment, the satellite automatically deploys its four fold-out solar panels. This is expected to have occurred at 9:02 a.m. EDT. At this time, its attitude control system will begin to orient the solar panel faces towards the sun and induce a spin along the craft's Z (lengthwise) axis. Contact with the satellite has not yet been made, but we will attempt to do so the afternoon of October 14.

Please welcome our summer co-op scholars!
Tuesday, May 31, 2016 was the first day for our six Co-op Scholars:
- David Baumann
- Daniel Borcoche
- Rebecca Campelli
- Jacob Hempel
- Silverio Johnson
- Nicholas Sacco
Co-op scholars are selected based on high merit and often participate in their co-op opportunity during the summer before their sophomore year. For Summer 2016, these students will be supporting the design and development of the various subsystems of the SPACE HAUC satellite. Congratulations co-op scholars!
