Biosketch
Fanhao Nie, Ph.D., is a quantitative sociologist whose research explores health at the intersection of race and religion, with a particular emphasis on the U.S. Asian population. His work also examines the broader social impacts of religious geographic contexts using multilevel modeling approaches. Nie’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Religion and Health, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, Health & Place, and Ethnicity & Health. His findings have received media coverage from outlets such as The Washington Post, HuffPost, and PsyPost. He currently serves as an associate editor for The Social Science Journal.
