Please join the Office of Research Development for two upcoming webinars about tools that could help advance your research. These platforms are accessible to all UML faculty, staff, and students.

Discover Research, Find Funding, and Identify Collaborators with Dimensions – Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 2-3 p.m. (virtual)

Join us for an introduction to Dimensions, the world’s largest interlinked research database. Dimensions brings together publications, awarded grants, patents, datasets, clinical trials, and policy documents to give you a comprehensive view of the research landscape. During the session, you will learn how Dimensions can help you:

  • Discover new research and emerging trends in your field
  • Find research funders in your topic area
  • Identify potential collaborators at your institution and beyond

Introduction to GrantForward – Thursday, Sept. 25 from 11 a.m.-Noon (virtual)

GrantForward is a search engine dedicated to helping institutions and individuals find grants to fund their research and scholarly work. At the session, a GrantForward representative will provide a tutorial for using the search engine, filtering opportunities to match your interests, creating a profile, and setting up regular notifications for future opportunities. This session is geared towards new users or those who want a refresher about the basic functions of the platform.
