Hospitality & Event Services (HES) provides event resources and event planning expertise for all on-campus meeting spaces. Our campus meeting space is used for both campus events and external events. Priority in bookings and support is given to events that support recruitment and retention, academic events, and student-sponsored events.
To correctly manage our resources, the following HES operational changes will take effect on Oct. 1, 2023. Customized room set-ups will be limited to designated event spaces across campus. Event support for nights and weekends, as well as hybrid events support, will also be limited. Please refer to the new operations model for more details.
In the coming days, HES will connect with contacts with impacted event reservations to find the best solution within the new framework. During this time, the ability to submit events in 25Live will temporarily be suspended for customizable event locations. Please be advised that processing time may take longer than usual.
For event requests that require immediate confirmation, please get in touch with HES directly at: 978-934-3888. Event and meeting requests can still be submitted for “as-is” campus conference spaces, University Crossing spaces, and campus classrooms. We appreciate your understanding as we work to establish this new operations model.
