I earned my Ph.D. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. My research focuses on empirical corporate finance, with a particular emphasis on innovation, intangible assets, and the role of stakeholders. I also explore topics in sustainable finance, as well as the effects of major economic and policy events on corporate decision-making. In my teaching, I aim to create an inclusive learning environment centered on open discussion. I have taught a range of finance courses, including corporate finance, security analysis (financial derivatives), and personal finance.
