Biosketch

Nolan is pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Science in the Department of Operations & Information Systems at Manning School of Business. He also received a Master of Science in Business Analytics (2022) and a Master of Business Administration (2021) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Nolan’s research interests include improving current algorithms and developing novel methods in the analytical space to tackle quantitative challenges such as majority bias and the curse of dimensionality. His current research focuses on adopting and optimizing various statistical and algorithmic approaches (e.g., Explainable AI) to foster data-driven competitive advantage, promote analytical agility, and support decision-making in organizations.
