Biosketch

Jie Li is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Management Science at the UMass Lowell. Her research interest focuses on the intersection of empirical healthcare analytics and operations research through applying operations analysis and machine learning methods to investigate the research problems about the quality and efficiency of service delivery processes.

Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Jie worked for many healthcare organizations, including Tufts Health Plan, Cleveland Clinic, and the MetroHealth System, where she was responsible for identifying variables that affect labor performance and discovering new opportunities to improve healthcare service processes.

Jie graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a master's degree in Operations Research & Supply Chain in 2019. She also holds a B.B.A in Business Analytics from the University of Iowa (2017).
