Charley has worked as a diplomatic attache in Brussels for the Chinese Mission to the European Union and worked for China's national consultancy firm on fields of international trading, foreign direct investment, and marketing development. She also worked for INTERSPORT International Corp. in Bern as Great China market consultant and then marketing chief of the INTERSPORT-allied local sporting goods retail group in China.
Charley co-founded a consulting business in Beijing to serve international firms trading with and investing in China on issues of regulation, marketing, partnership and finance. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in administrative information management at the Renmin University of China and an MBA in international business at the Peking University of China.
