Gerardo Bastos has worked as a senior consultant focused on the internationalization of individuals, companies, clusters, and governments. Gerardo has managed and delivered 30+ market entry strategies, business development, and operations projects that led to substantial revenue growth in this previous position.
He also worked with various clients internationally, advising and mentoring their team in their strategy for valuation, fundraising, business setup and expansion, product development, project management, innovation, and growth acceleration. His experience in operation and execution comes from a variety of industries such as retail, wholesale, international trading, food, and real estate. Before this last role, Gerardo held executive positions in large corporations in marketing, business development, and management for over ten years and in different industries, achieving proven and tangible growth results and significant recognition. He also was a board member of a large Brazilian Food and Agribusiness business with +3,000 employees. Recently, Gerardo had been part of the multiple advisory boards of non-profit associations, including the Family Business Enterprise at Babson College.
Gerardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and MSc in Business Administration from Babson College with a Specialization in Global Management.
