Biosketch
Mengchao's current research interest is corporate finance with a focus on capital structure and financial disclosure. She teaches Financial Management. Before joining the Ph.D. program, Mengchao earned a Master of Science in Accountancy from California State University Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Accounting from Harbin University of Science and Technology in China, and worked as a controller for a startup exporting company in Beijing.
