I-94 - The Arrival & Departure Record

Document issued by U.S. Customs & Border Protection. The majority of I-94s are recorded electronically only. You can access your I-94 record and find out more information on the CBP I-94 website.

Passport Biographical Page / Identification Page

The identification page of the passport includes: the name and personal details of the passport holder, the passport number, the passport photo, date of issuance, and the expiration date.

Visa - Travel Authorization Document

The document issued by your host country authorizing you to travel to the US. The visa includes your name and personal details, the country of origin, passport number, the date of issuance and expiration, the visa type, and the number of allowable entries. Admission Stamp - Proof of Legal Entry

The admission stamp is issued in place of a paper copy of the I-94. It is the proof of legal entry into the US. Make sure your stamp includes the correct visa type. For instance, the stamp below includes "F-1". The stamp will also include a notation on how long you can remain in the US.
