Biosketch
Samuel Murillo is a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, having recently earned his bachelor's degree in the same discipline. As an Honors College student throughout all four years of his undergraduate career, Samuel actively supported the campus community by serving as an Honors Information Peer during his senior year and as an Honors Orientation Peer over the summer. He now brings this experience to his current role as an Honors Specialist at UMass Lowell. Academically, his research interests are rooted in natural language processing (NLP), with a specific focus on mechanistic interpretability, model introspection, and representation learning.
