Biosketch

Benjamin Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2005 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2011 he graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Since graduation, Benjamin has practiced physical therapy at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in the inpatient and outpatient settings, caring for a diverse patient population with varying diagnoses. Benjamin began teaching the Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy I and II Labs in 2015 and has helped to refine the course material to meet the expectations of the various clinical sites associated with UMass Lowell's DPT Program. Also since 2015, he has been employed at Peak Movement as a program supervisor physical therapist, which is an outpatient program servicing a neurological patient population with varying diagnoses including multiple sclerosis, stroke, and spinal cord injury. Benjamin is specifically responsible for the education and clinical guidance of many UMass Lowell undergraduate student employees.
