Philosophy and Film at the Luna Theater
Each year, the philosophy department hosts a monthly film series at the Luna Theater in Lowell. Faculty members from our department select a film and lead a discussion of the philosophical issues in the film afterwards.
These events are free and open to the public. The Luna Theater is located at 250 Jackson Street in Mill 5.
Philosophy ClubÂ
Students interested in discussing philosophy with other undergraduates should contact the UML Philosophy Club to join discussion groups and events. Majors, minors and non-majors are all welcome! Meetings on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. on the second floor of UCrossing.
An integral part of Philosophy Club is our commitment to bridging the gap between North and South campus; we bring these sides together through exploring various topics in Philosophy such as science, math, art, the mind, religion, morality, and so on. Our mission is to unveil profound metaphysical truths to discover the nature of human existence. We hope you can join us on this journey, all are welcome!
