Research Interests

Monica Galizzi specializes in labor economics, with additional research interests in health economics and behavioral economics. Her research has also explored the return-to-work patterns of injured workers, as well as the differences in earnings and wealth losses experienced by men and women following workplace injuries. Other areas of investigation include risk preferences, the underreporting of workplace injuries, and injury recurrence. Her research draws on both quantitative and qualitative methods.
