Biosketch

Katherine Flowers enjoys teaching first-year writing, journalism and professional writing, and courses about language and literacy. Her work has appeared in the "Journal of Sociolinguistics," "College Composition and Communication," "Language Policy," "Literacy in Composition Studies" and the "Journal of Language and Politics." In 2024, Cambridge University Press published her first book, "Making English Official: Writing and Resisting Local Language Policies."
