Qualifications
In order to be eligible to apply to the Research Experience for Undergraduates program, students must be:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
- Pursuing a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) related field
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Students from groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM and from academic institutions with limited research opportunities, including community colleges, are especially encouraged to apply.

- Program duration: May 25 to July 31, 2026
- Certificate ceremony: July 31, 2026
