Undergraduate and master's students MUST have a commencement name card in order for their name to be called as they cross the stage on Commencement Day.
Note: Doctoral candidates do not require a commencement name card.
The commencement name card (sample below) displays the student's diploma name and an option to put in how they want their name to be pronounced. You will receive your commencement name card when you pick up your cap and gown at the Cap & Gown Countdown on April 8, 2024.
If you are unable to attend the Cap & Gown Countdown:
- You can pick your commencement name card up at the River Hawk Bookstore between April 9 and May 9, 2024. In an event that the Bookstore does not have your commencement name card, the Bookstore will contact the Registrar's Office to have your commencement name card printed.
- Commencement name card can also be picked up at the Registrar’s tent at the Tsongas Center on your graduation day (May 10 or May 11, 2024).
