Authorized users are required to follow all Campus Recreation policies and procedures. Please review the Campus Recreation Complex standard operating procedures listed below. You can also review the general SOP.

  • Equipment can be checked out for free and returned from the CRC Welcome Desk or Riverview Fitness Center (RFC) desk with a valid UML UCARD or CRC Membership card using our card scan system.
  • Items lost, stolen, or broken may be subject to a replacement fee.

  • A majority of our lockers are day use only; long-term rental options are available on a limited basis at the CRC. Inquire at CRC on current availability.
  • A majority of our lockers are equipped with built-in mechanical locks; members can bring in locks for lockers that do not have built-in locks. We encourage patrons not to bring in valuables and lock up all personal items in a locker securely.
  • Campus Recreation is not responsible for any personal items that are lost or stolen.
  • If items are left overnight inside a daily use locker, personal belongings will be removed and logged and placed into our lost and found.

  • Campus Recreation is not responsible for any lost or stolen items inside our recreational facilities. We recommend that patrons do not bring valuables. Items should be secured in a properly locked locker. We provide free lockers with built-in locks at the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) and Riverview Fitness Center (RFC) locations.
  • Non-valuable items found at the CRC, RFC, or Campus Recreation Complex will be logged by Campus Recreation staff and stored in our CRC Equipment Center (or inside the RFC desk closet for items found at the RFC).
  • After at least two weeks, any unclaimed items will be put out on a table in the CRC or RFC atrium for patrons to take. Any items that remain will be donated to Goodwill.
  • Valuable items such as wallets, money, credit cards, identification cards, cell phones, jewelry and more will be logged and turned over to UMass Lowell Police Department immediately.

If the university is delayed or closed due to inclement weather, such as snowstorms, visit the the Campus Recreation homepage for alerts regarding changes to operating hours.
