Authorized users are required to follow all Campus Recreation policies and procedures. Please review the Boathouse standard operating procedures  listed below. You can also review the general SOP.

  • The use of tobacco or tobacco substitute products is not permitted on-site.
  • The possession of alcohol or recreational drugs will not be permitted in the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) or Riverview Fitness Center (RFC) nor on its grounds.
  • Individuals under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will not be permitted in Campus Recreation facilities nor on its grounds.

  • No animals are allowed in the Campus Recreation Center (CRC), Campus Recreation Complex or Riverview Fitness Center (RFC) except guide dogs.

Appropriate attire is required in all Campus Recreation facilities, programs, and activities.

  • Upper body garments are required in all activity areas. Garments which discreetly cover the lower body are required in all areas.
  • Closed-toe, non-marking athletic-type shoes that are free of debris are required in all activity areas except for the pool or for specific programs (yoga, etc.).
  • Hats are allowed in the fitness center, on the track and all non-activity spaces. Hats are not allowed in the racquetball/squash courts or gymnasium when recreating for safety purposes.

If the university is delayed or closed due to inclement weather, such as snowstorms, visit the the Campus Recreation homepage for alerts regarding changes to operating hours.

  • Profane or indecent language will not be tolerated.
  • Spitting or intentionally creating other health hazards will not be permitted.
  • Verbal or physical altercations will not be permitted.
