Hi! I'm currently the Academic Success Coach and Outreach Specialist for the River Hawk Scholars Academy (RHSA) at UMass Lowell. In this role, I have the privilege of supporting first-generation college students as they navigate their academic journey, connect with resources, and develop confidence in their goals and abilities.
My academic background includes graduate work in counseling, student development, and higher education leadership. I'm especially interested in how burnout impacts college students—and how resilience, coaching, and community can help prevent it.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my grandsons, especially doing outdoor activities together. One of my favorite memories is completing our first Mud Race and Spartan together—mud, sweat, and all! I also enjoy boxing and constantly look for ways to challenge myself, whether that’s through fitness or finding new adventures that push me to grow, mentally and physically.
