The Environmental Science option is for students focused on human impacts on the environment and major environmental challenges including climate change, pollution, and sustainability. The concentration prepares students for employment in the private and government sectors where knowledge is required in management and protection of the environment, pollution control and remediation of contaminated sites, environmental law and regulations, natural resources and environmental economics. Our graduates have become environmental consultants, environmental analysts and officers, wastewater treatment plant operators, hydrological consultants, noise and air pollution specialists, teachers and managers in private industry and government.
